(BRYAN, Texas) – ATLAS – the premier corporate campus in the Brazos Valley – and Lake Walk, the new town center featuring lifestyle and outdoor pursuits – announce the opening of coffee house P.O.V..
Located adjacent to The Stella Hotel at Lake Walk Town Center, P.O.V. will provide a comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere for guests to enjoy moments together as they share their points of view.
The menu features regional focus, serving specialty coffee from San Antonio’s Merit Roasting Co., light fare, wine and local brews. P.O.V. offers indoor and outdoor seating, and boasts a sleek, stylish, modern setting designed by Austin-based firm Clayton & Little.
“P.O.V. is the perfect addition to our Lake Walk Town Center,” says Spencer Clements, Principal of the ATLAS and Traditions Development. “The space is beautiful, is right next door to The Stella and is across the street from our lakeside Pavilion. It will be the premier coffee shop in Bryan / College Station and the closest one to the Texas A&M Health Science Center and RELLIS. All of our Traditions residents and our ATLAS companies are looking forward to having their very own neighborhood spot for coffee and conversation.”
Each morning, fresh pastries and kolaches will be available alongside P.O.V.’s coffee offerings. Menu highlights include the egg and sausage biscuit with Texas cheddar cheese; and sesame seed bagel and lox with a cream cheese schmear.
In the afternoons, guests can enjoy made-to-order salads and deli sandwiches to fuel their day’s adventures throughout Bryan-College Station. The piled high roast beef sandwich with horseradish, red onion, blue cheese dressing on marble rye bread; and mixed market greens salad with tomato, cucumber, radish, avocado, goat cheese and vinaigrette promise to be highlights. In the evenings, guests can kick back and relax with wine by the glass, local craft brews, artisan cheese and charcuterie plates, and house made desserts.
A public offering of P.O.V.’s refreshments will occur on its patio on Sept. 7 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. The tasting helps kick off a full slate of events scheduled for the fall at Lake Walk. A weekly Tuesday neighborhood artisan market – The Local – will be taking place at the same time, and will feature produce vendors, and other vendors selling clothing, shoes, décor and other items, food trucks and live music.
Also occurring in the fall, Eats and Beats will be a Friday concert series with a variety of food vendors on site for dining. The concerts will take place on Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 15.
Events focusing on health and wellness include the ATLAS Triathlon on Oct. 14, a Breast Cancer Charity Walk on Oct.22 and a Super Hero Fun Run on Nov. 4. A free outdoor yoga session will occur every Saturday at 8 a.m., and a weekly Stroller Strides fitness class is planned for families with young children.
P.O.V. will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and will be open later during live musical performances. For more information, visit www.povatlakewalk.com or call 979.421.4025.
