(BRYAN, Texas) – ATLAS – the premier corporate campus in the Brazos Valley – and Lake Walk – the new town center featuring lifestyle and outdoor pursuits – have released a list of events for the late winter and early spring.
Kicking off the 2018 events at Lake Walk on Feb. 20 is The Local, a neighborhood artisan market. Happening every Tuesday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., The Local will feature a variety of unique local vendors including produce, canned goods, breads, poultry, handmade jewelry and décor, along with food trucks and music.
Lake Walk’s free outdoor community yoga classes will begin on Feb. 24 and take place every Saturday at 8 a.m. In addition, Stroller Strides – a weekly fitness class for families with young children – occurs Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.
The third annual CHI St. Joseph Gran Fondo will take place on March 3. The cycling event, which will start and finish at The Stella Hotel, benefits CHI St. Joseph Health’s cancer services. Occurring on May 5, the first ATLAS Glow Run will feature a 5k and 10k race option with a concert at the Lake Walk Pavilion to finish.
“Our community events team has worked diligently over the past few months to devise a thoughtful calendar chockfull of events for everyone to partake and enjoy,” says Natalie Rosser, Marketing Coordinator for Lake Walk Town Center. “Our weekly artisan market, The Local, was a great event for us last year to showcase Lake Walk and its amenities, and we are excited about providing unique events like this to the community.”
